Rodri Alonzo

Rodri Alonzo is a Guatemalan author, investigator and communicator. He began writing stories at eight years old and has kept a personal diary since he was seventeen—a habit that influenced the diary structure of his debut novel.

His three obsessions are thrillers, murder mysteries and television. Blackout in the Spotlight is what happens when those three things are locked inside a mansion.

He graduated from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala and works as a compliance investigator. Although Spanish is his native language, he originally wrote the novel in English before translating it into Spanish.
